就労継続支援施設おふぁー新大宮（奈良県奈良市、２０２２年竣工、鉄骨造、地上３階建て）
Employment Continuing Support Facility “Offer” Shin-Omiya (completed in 2022, steel structure, 3 storeys, Nara)

奈良市の新大宮駅から徒歩数分の位置に建つ就労継続支援施設。周辺の建物の状況とは裏腹に、商業地域かつ防火地域に指定されている。木造の耐火構造では施主が求める計画となり辛かったため、Kフレーム工法を採用した。Kフレームは１００角の柱を用いた耐力壁とH鋼の梁で構成されており、耐火構造で計画することも容易でありながら、大きな柱型が出ないため、内部もスッキリとしている。

This project is for a continuing employment support facility, that is a few minutes’ walk from Shin-Omiya station in Nara. Contrary to the current surrounding building conditions, the area is regulated by the commercial zone and fire prevention zone. While the wooden fire prevention structure is difficult to meet the client’s plan, K-shape frame structure is adopted instead. K-shape frame structure consists of an endurance wall with 100 pillars and H steel beam. It is easier to plan fire prevention structures and to make the interior more spacious because big columns are not required.
