FL Hotel Dotonbori (completed in 2021, steel structure, 9 storeys, Osaka)

大阪の繁華街の近くに計画した宿泊特化型のホテル。クライアントのコーポレートカラーを基調にデザインした。繁華街に向けた外壁面は、縦リブのパネルを使用。夕方チェックイン時にホテルに向かう宿泊客は、横から夕陽に照らされ、リブの影で表情が豊かになる壁面を目指すこととなる。

This hotel, that is specialized for staying, will be built near one of the busiest city centers in Osaka. The hotel is designed with the client’s corporate colors. The façade facing the busy city street uses vertical rib panels. Guests who check in at dusk will see the rich expression of the façade as the sunset makes shadows horizontally.
