既存工場の隣接地に計画した新工場。作業環境を向上させることで生産性を上げたいというクライアントの要望を実現させることを目指した。鉛を溶かす４基の電気釜からの放熱を考慮し、天井高さを７メートル確保した。作業範囲をカバーする特大フードは、面風速の基準をクリアするため、整流板を取り付けるなどの工夫をし、高い天井空間でダクトを配管とファンを設置。室全体の照度を確保しつつ、作業範囲の照度確保のため、フードにも照明器具を設置した。

This is a project to build a new factory on the property of an existing factory. The new factory is designed to accommodate the client’s request to increase productivity by improving the work environment. In consideration of heat dissipation from four electric furnaces that melts lead, a 7-meter-high ceiling is secured. The oversized hood that covers the working space is equipped with a rectifier to clear the standard of surface wind speed. Ducts, pipes and fans are placed in the high ceiling. To maintain the brightness in the whole space, extra lighting fixtures are placed in the hood.
