Tokiwakai Junior College Arena (completed in 2020, RC structure, 4 storeys, Osaka)

特定天井（天井落下の恐れがあるとして、安全基準を満たす必要がある天井）のあるアリーナの改修計画。断熱材を兼ねた既存天井を撤去するため、屋根面に遮熱塗料を塗装した。剥き出しとなった天井面には、日傘でよくある照り返し防止効果を狙った黒い塗料を塗装。既存天井内にあった設備は改めて整理し、耐火被覆剤は剥落防止のための塗料を吹き付けた。

This is a renovation of the arena to fulfill the current safety standards. To remove the existing ceiling with insulation, thermal insulation paint is applied to the surface of the roof. After the removal, black paint is applied to the exposed ceiling for a parasol effect to reflect light off the roof. The existing cabling and equipment in the ceiling are reorganized and extra coating material is sprayed to avoid refractory coating material falling.
